Techtoad was established in 2006 as a small web hosting company. Towards the end of 2007, Techtoad became a personal/social website, packed with News, Pictures and Quotes. Techtoad still provide computer and web services, but now under the name of XCNS.CO.UK (eXtreme Computer and Network Services).

This website was made by Kirk Saywell and Dug Stokes (Frag.co.uk). The website design has varied over time.

This website is written in PHP coding language, and is hosted on a Linux server running Apache webserver. This website also uses MySQL.
